Video Premiere: “Come Over” by Nick Sharma

Futuristic purification

With a style and musical ability that reminisces back to the glory days of Nas and Lupe Fiasco, rapper Nick Sharma has created a massive hype among his fans. The artist is now following this up with six videos coming over the next 12 months.

All releases alternate between two sounds and images; Hi-Fi / futuristic in the form of Xtrovert EP and Lo-Fi / retro with Introvert EP.

Finally I can release, it is said in the intro to the song. The music video for “Come Over” will be released on December 11, 2020. In the music video and the text, the transition between is depicted the spiritual and the material. It is symbolized in the form of a relationship between two people on either side of it.

The song is from “Xtrovert EP” and has a neo-soul soundscape, mixed with funk and electro. The message is to cleanse oneself of their negative shadows, or as the artist himself says in the intro: “Release”

I think we collectively, especially with everything that has happened in 2020, and the individual is in a “cleansing” phase, where we now have to face our negative aspects face to face, in order to let them go, and finally choose something higher, says the rapper in a description of the theme of the song.

The beat is made by KDaGreat from Kenya. The video was filmed by Phillip Geertsen and Vegard Valde. And not least: hit machine Andre Jensen is a co-producer and mixer.
